Great property in ideal position with some original frescos still visible in the Royal Suite. The style of this hotel is just unique. The restoration works took a long time due to the fact that this is a registered property and the aim was to bring back one of the most beautiful and interested palaces in Europe in 1600. The standard rooms are the smallest in size, as there are very spacious rooms at this hotel, but they are very cosy and well appointed. They are furnished in an elegant style that is the product of a fusion of traditional Venetian and modern style, which is the recurrent theme all around the hotel. Some of the rooms have got a very unique design, with the bathroom, like a cocoon in the middle of the room, and the furnishings arranged all around it. The Ruzzini family moved here in 1586 after a big fire destroyed their house in San Giovanni Crisostomo, by the Rialto. The building had been closed for 20 years before it reopened in 2008 as a new hotel.
